Morning Sax.

3 Oct

Sure, Saturday night sax is great, but it is something sought out and anticipated. Can anything really beat the spontaneity of morning sax? There is no better way to greet the day.

I don’t often feel as though Marilyn Monroe and I have much in common. I like to think that I have more to offer in the ways of wit and conversation but I know I’m just rationalizing and compensating. I’m completely aware that I lack her inexplicable animal magnetism. But there is something we share.

“All they have to do is play eight bars of Come to Me My Melancholy Baby and my spine turns to custard. I get goosepimply all over!” I get it, Mar. I’m so with you. Though for me, I could probably sub tenor sax with any instrument that doesn’t belong in a chamber ensemble.

So here is a little sax for you all. Good morning!
